High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. HIIT is the concept where one performs a short burst of high-intensity (or max-intensity) exercise followed by a brief low-intensity activity. Research has shown that HIIT regimens successfully produced significant reductions in the fat mass of the whole-body.

Length: 19 minutes

Cardio & Core – Get your sweat on today with some killer core moves paired with cardio to work your abs and keep your heart rate up! No equipment needed!

HIIT 30 Days 30 Workouts Challenge Day 5

Length: 17 minutes

Time to Get Up – This workout is a little slower in pace than some of the others but it should still get you sweaty. And it’s a great exercise to learn because it hits EVERY part of your body (if you do it right)!

Length: 20 minutes

Sweaty Betty – I think the name says it all! This workout is a full body workout with a generous amount of core work! You’ll need a water bottle, or cone or something like that and you can also optionally use a medicine ball to up the intensity!

Length: 17 minutes

Terrible Two’s – I like to think that good things come in pairs, like firm butt cheeks! LOL. Hope you enjoy this short workout, that doesn’t feel very short!

Length: 20 minutes

Superset Stepping – Grab a step, bench, stack of books or whatever you can get up on and get moving!!! This 20 minutes workout is sure to have you leveling up! (I make terrible puns)

Length: 15 minutes

30 Burpee Challenge – It’s not a straight 30 burpees in a row but if you push yourself you can squeeze in 15-30 burpees into this workout making it an awesome challenge! Good luck!
